Auto follow-ups

A planned series of messages for each person, on their own clock, that stops when they reply.

Welcome to NxAi tutorials! In this episode, you'll set up auto follow ups: a planned series of WhatsApp messages that each person gets on their own schedule.

0:14What you'll do

We'll plan the messages, personalise them, choose who joins, and see how the series runs and stops.

0:21Auto follow-ups page

Under Marketing, open Auto follow ups. A series sends each person planned messages, one after another, starting when they join. It can stop as soon as they reply.

0:34Name & first message

Click New follow up series, and give it a name. Each message is an approved template. Pick it, and fill in its details: here, the contact's name and an order number. Message one goes out as soon as someone joins.

0:52More messages & waits

Add a message to send another one later, and choose how long to wait after the one before, in hours or days. The schedule shows when each person gets each message. We'll keep one for now.

1:05Who gets it & create

Then choose who gets it: people you add, from the series page or your own app, or everyone in a contact group, automatically, including people who join it later. Keep Stop sending when the person replies switched on, and create the series. Then use Add people to bring contacts in.

1:26Follow-ups vs campaigns

Remember the difference: a campaign sends one message to many people at once, while a follow up series gives each person their own timeline. You can pause or edit a series any time.
